This is unbelievable but really happend...

My boy and I wre out looking to move a stand and check a couple of feeders. I saw a euro sow wondering around but didn't think much of it as she wanders the whole place. I was about to get out of truck when a bruiser of a boar stepped into view about 20 yards away. I thought he would run off but soon realized he was after the euro sow who is obviously in heat.

The boar squared off to my truck and made a mad dash towards it. He stopped within inches and veered off. What a rush! I yelled at my boy,"did you see that?!?" I have never witnessed that before. I have seen boars stand there ground, but never cahrge a vehicle. He didn't leave either. He stayed just inside the wood line. I guessed him at a solid 175#. He is a very thick boar.

He is a good looking boar. He has a black back, white belly, and a snow white spot in his mane. I would rather a hunter take him home. Very Happy
