I’m new to Texas Boars but I have been a fan for a while. I’m happy to be a part of the group.
See this link:

I took this big boy on 16 MAR 12 near Marquez Texas. I didn’t weigh or measure him but it took three of us to turn him over to pose him for this photo. I think he was near 250lbs. I'm 6'1" 210lbs and he was bigger than me. He is the biggest boar I’ve seen or killed in person. The biggest ever killed on the ranch. I was up early that morning and sat in a stand until just past sun up. I got out of the stand and decided to walk a fence line closest to the Navasota River. Just over 100 yards from me I saw a blond blob moving slowly toward the wood line. It was huge even from that distance. I took a few more steps, dropped to one knee and took the shot. My 30.06 (I know...the pic was taken with my dad's 30-30) dropped him in his tracks from 96 yards. He got bigger and bigger every step I took. Can’t wait to beat this one.

No make up, but there was lots of blood and the flies and buzzards were on him within minutes. It was crazy!

The cool thing about this hunt was that we also caught 5 more in traps that morning. To include his baby brother. See link: http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg539/timogreen/TheTwin.jpg

This one was a mean one for sure.

Is that a UFO to your right in the trap photo? Flies, buzzards and UFO's love hogs, especially them pretty blondes. Nice job.

Wow, those 2 are something. We hunt in Grimes county & have never seen anything like that around here. Ours are either razor back or regular big domesticated looking hogs. I might think that was a wooly mammoth on our property! You think it would be too hot down here for all that. Congrats, nice hogs.
