This one is from Dec 2010. He was 237# and first blood for my new 6.8 SPC. A 110 gr ProHunter was applied to the ear hole, from about 75 yards, and it exited the opposite side with a hole the size of a quarter. He was DRT...on top of the pig pipe. Taken from the bedroom window of our cabin Cool . [Thank you Dakota Alert]

This guy is from this last weekend, but he was a several month project. I had seen him in game cam pics off and on since last fall. He shows 3 - 5 nights a week, but all over the place time-wise. The one thing that was repeatable was he NEVER showed in a picture unless there had been raccoons, deer, or other pigs around the feeder for quite a while. I have left smaller pigs untouched a couple of times over the last two months hoping this guy was lurking in the background.

It had rained heavily the night before, but no rain on Saturday, just heavy cloud cover, with a little lightning on the horizon. I was sitting in the stand watching a couple of raccoons. They kept standing up and looking off to the south of the feeder, so I could tell something was out there, but the brush and trees were too thick to see anything with the NV and illuminator. After about 20 minutes, he did a quick drive by, but ducked back into the brush for about 5 minutes, before actually coming out to feed.

Same 6.8 SPC with a 90 gr hollow point. He was about 125 years out. I was aiming for the shoulder, but the shot was a little too far forward. He took off and got into a dry gully, where he made it another 100 Yard back toward my tree-stand. He ended up within 20 - 30 yards of where I shot him from Confused . He weighted in at 246#. I did not find him until the next morning, so he has a little bloat on him in this pic.

I don't agree with the 'too many folks hunting hogs'.

Ill be happy if folks question if my pellet gun is too much gun for the hog and others need to see the body for proof there are still wild pigs!
