Ok my Hog I measured after it was Field Dressed,I was Happy with 250 Pounds.
I went to Taxidermist to see how my Mount was coming. He asked if I actually weighed this Hog? I told him I estimated it 250 Pounds. He looks at me says he has done alot of 250 pound Mounts and this was much Bigger like around 100 Pounds more. Then he went on to show me all His fighting Scares. Hey Hog!
I'm 230 pounds.
Thoughts?

Hard to tell from the photo. If it measured enough to count as 250 after being
field dressed, I'm sure it was larger before hand. The unknown is how much
larger, hence heavier. Going by the chart, each inch equates to 10 pounds of weight.
40 inch = 200 pounds
42 inch = 220 pounds
43 inch = 230 pounds
44 inch = 240 pounds
45 inch = 250 pounds
-------------------------------
46 inch = 260 pounds
47 inch = 270 pounds
48 inch = 280 pounds
49 inch = 290 pounds
-----------------------------
50 inch = 300 pounds
51 inch = 310 pounds

Impossible to tell for sure from the pic but he seems too short to be that heavy. A 350# hog is an absolute giant. Unless you weigh a lot of hogs on a scale it is really hard to guess weight. Almost everyone vastly over-estimates the weight.
