You think you could make me some lights for the front of my boat for floundering ? I'd like to light an area 12' X 8' from 3 foot above the water . _________________ "I'll be okay , it only hurts when I breathe " |

Does a dog bark!
How wide is the front of your boat?
12 feet wide at 3 feet high? That would most likely require two separate lights.
But yeah, with the new white LEDs I have now we can do it,, and they could run all night long -- fro several nights, from a single deep cycle battery. _________________ KEVIN RYER

WOW that was fast . I'd say it's 5' across the front deck . I might acually mount them a little closer to the water . I'd like to light up as far forward and to the sides as possible. _________________ "I'll be okay , it only hurts when I breathe " |

I have a hand held light that I hang up when fishing from the bridge down in pensacola. Kevin made it for me. it has three of the LED's in it, and is the brightest light on the whole bridge. I hook it into my cigarette lighter in the truck and it runs all night long without running down my battery.
They should make outstanding flounder lights. _________________ Have a great day and a better tomorrow,

Hey Pelon,
I've made a number of these lights for floundering and bowfishing.
It's a custom thing. You'll need to call me - 903 848 7075
I am leaving for the coast later so I'm out of pocket right now _________________ KEVIN RYER

That RPG of yours lit up the long plot great the other night Frank. I could see the glow in the top of the pines from 300+yds away.
I too am wondering what the three lights being white would do for the hogs coming in to the bait. Anyone with any expierance in this ?? --- Bill S. _________________ "Why just dance when you can rock and roll"

| Yeah I could target as far as 85 yds w the classic RPG, the feeder was 108 yds so I need to move it closer to me. The RPG is nice and subtle, like moonlight |

The WHITE LIGHT has been used for hog hunting.
I used them for many years.
It is a tool that requires MORE SKILL and very specific SET UP.
OBVIOUSLY animals can see the white light -- so it's tricky.
Basically, the white is 3 TIMES (3X) more powerful than the RPG.
I don't promote it as a hunting light because WHITE can and sometimes WILL deter animals. _________________ KEVIN RYER

Kevin is there a 1 unit RPG that has a further throw than mine or a retrofit?
I can wee the white light being turned on to shoot but not like I leave my RPG on the targeted area all night with the hogs coming into it.. |

""GENERALLY"" Turning LED lights "ON" and "OFF" (no matter the color) is NOT recommended. It is much more likely to startle animals.
Turn them ON and leave them ON.
Frank, I'm not sure which RPG you have?
Here are the product pages.
The RECOMMENDED YARDAGE is listed with every light.

The CLASSIC 1X3's can be USER MODIFIED into a 2X6 or even a 3X9.
Remove the TRIPOD ADAPTER and screw MULTIPLE "1X3" into an OUTDOOR J-BOX.
SINGLE UNIT that will shine farther than a CLASSIC is the SENDERO MODELS. SENDERO uses a different lens system with a tighter beam angle and will THROW much farther. _________________ KEVIN RYER
