Well I got two before dark and was very happy. But now I've shot three more and can't find them nothing huge looked to be about 100lbs all three but no bodies firing from about 20 yards. Maybe I'll find them in the morning ugggh.

Well I just hit three more a 180lb and a 170lb sows DRT finally and a third smaller one I hit right as it made the creek. I could hear it thrashing in the water but can't find it now. I'm going to have a tone of hogs to look for tomorrow. It's really fast shooting only can see on the trail then it's waist high grass.

You're doing fine given the conditions though.

Huey, are you remembering to aim a bit high on the real close shots. You will always shoot a little low until the bullet has a chance to rise to the sight line of the scope. We have our 44's sighted at 40 yards but must aim a little high if shots are less than about 20 yards which happens a lot.

Actualy the ir laser is underneath the barrel. But I don't think it was an aim error it was the extream dense vegetation. I found them with my well trained vultures, they ran about 20 yards neck and shoulder shots. Well one was a behind the shoulder at an angle towards the head shot. I ended up with seven.

All things considered, it sounds like a fun night. Too bad they weren't all DRT, but that happens to the best of us at some time in our lives. Chances are though, they all died during the night and that means fewer breeders.
