Bill,

Rusty Cox of ShootistArmsCompany.com showed me a 'double threaded' 5/8 X 24 - 5/8 X 32 adapter. We discussed using a .458 can on a .30. He stated it would be less than optimal but would work.

Thanks Ron, I'll try looking up the website and check it out..
Shooting subsonic ammo thru an oversized can won't be as quiet as if using the correct one, but does work better than you may imagine...When I shot my dealer's can on my 300BLK, we discussed it, and he took a 45acp can and fired it with 9mm, and 22lr subsonic rounds, and supersonic as well to show it is plausible, not perfect, but in my ballpark.. Wink
