Well, we put A LOT of time on stand in and finally, it all came together. He decided to shoot a smaller one because he wanted to have some good pork. As I have stated before we're new to archery, so much so that we thought he missed at first because it was a complete pass thru shot. I expected the pig to squeel when that happened..............not a sound though till the pig was about 40 yards off, then, a bunch of noise. I was pretty sure then that he smoked it. Waited 30 minutes and went down and the bolt was covered in blood. I told my son and he was pumped! He tracked the blood and I followed him, he and I were very proud when we found it. My son is 11 and has been hunting since he was 3 with me, he's accomplished with a rifle but archery is new to us both. He doesn't know it yet but a new PSE Compound will be under the tree tomorrow for him to learn.
Mods, I hope the picture is posted right as far a size, the properties said it was within spec for pic size.

That is a great way to finish the year, with a first on bow hog kill and then his own bow. Way to go. _________________ 2012- 11 pigs Down.
