Got to go on opening day to my buddies duck lease in Holmwood La. We had our limits in less than an hour and I was back home in time for lunch on Saturday. Turn and burn trip but it was a ton of fun!

Way to go Paul, that is a nice pile of ducks, that should make for a nice Thanksgiving dinner.

Paul, those were blue winged teal, right? Nice bunch. I always enjoyed duck hunting over goose hunting. And adding a good dog to the mix made it even more enjoyable. C'ya Smile

I'm just the opposite Billy...I really don't care for duck, but the Snow Goose always tasted better to me...Smoked, Baked, pounded out filets breaded and golden fried...I could do some of that.. Rolling Eyes
Not to mention that the State of Texas has practically listed them as Varmints with very little and sometimes no restriction or limit..Shocked

If y'all start shooting up snow geese, please save me the primary wing feathers. They look mighty fine on primitive arrows. Of course, same thing goes for wild turkeys and Canada geese.
