I have found others between $450-$2250. Serial # is 699XX. From what I can tell, it looks like the pre'64 that is apparently worth more money, but I'm confused about that part. Can you guys tell me what you think its worth. I had it at a gunshop/smith once and the guy tried to swindle me out of it. I need help so I don't get screwed if I sell or trade it. If you need more info, feel free to PM me.

The honest answer is that a used firearm is worth what someone will pay for it; but I know that's not a terribly helpful response.
If you think it's worth significant money on the open market, consider putting it up for sale on Gunbroker. When someone says, "oh it's worth this", or "oh, it's worth that", mostly they are just blowing smoke, unless they're willing to reach into the old piggy bank and put their money with their mouth.
The actual cash value of anything is what it will bring at auction. That's how the collector market is set.

None of this is meant to discourage you by the way. The Winchester 100 is a very nice rifle and yours seems to be in particularly nice shape. An alternative might be to put it in a shop that does consignments. You'll give up a little, but it will likely sell faster. Since the shop will get a percentage, it's likely they will price as high as possible.

i think if you do an internet search, I found some posts on it, if it is a pre-64 in 95%+ condition, you're probably more in the range of around $600 or so, I wouldn't go by what I say, ask the gun dealer (or possibly a few) to see the gun value book, or you an purchase it yourself online...
