|
|
Here are some videos I just edited and got loaded up.
These are 100% free roam videos on a ranch that has been over-run with hogs. NO FENCES, well, there are barnyards,, but not for hogs These are "WILD" hogs.
Distance to the bait is 225 yards.
Guns used are 300 Win Mag and 7MM Mag using Barnes TTSX BT
This is a LARGE FILE it may take a while to load, TRUST ME, you won't regret watching the following double kill video.
You can see the copper Barnes Bullets tracing directly into the animals
The big piebald is over 300 pounds the shot is a DRT at 235 yards with a Barnes TTSX BT from 300 Win Mag -- blew through both front shoulders.
The DOUBLE SHOT is 7MM Mag and the 300 Mag.

This bullet was recovered from the double kill (the shot from the right hand side) from the 7 Mag (me), the first hog was not recovered the second hog was DRT.
The shot from the left was Brent,(the 300 mag) we did not see any blood trails from that shot?
I originally thought I only hit one hog, but after reviewing the video on a big screen it is clear the first hog in the path of the bullet ran off while the second hog dropped to the ground. This is the recovered BARNES TSX from that 150 pound boar.
I'll have the second video of a boar that DWARFS the 300 pounder killed in the second video The boar is litterally as tall as the deer in the video. _________________ KEVIN RYER

OK here is the second video.
Turn your volume UP so you can hear the discussion.
AND PAY ATTENTION,
we were specifically hunting a big boar that had put down tracks for several days at the bait.
So we passed up good boar while waiting for that hog! Well, we dozed off, JUST A LITTLE BIT, we didn't see the hog when it first walked up. JUST IN CASE YOU ASK -- We got it on video because the camera stays on record all the time. Were were getting ready to shoot,, but the deer were returning, the hog could hear the deer arriving so he left. These big old hogs won't hang around for any disturbance!

Here is a HIGH QUAILITY shot of the deer in the same exact spot as the hog.
If you'll compare the deer to the big hog that is standing in the same exact spot you'll see the hog is as tall as the deer
This is a very short video but in high quality MPG so its a big file.

we waited about 10 seconds toooooo long to take the shot, I was making sure the camera was focussed and the durn thing walked off into the grass _________________ KEVIN RYER

OH YEAH,,
I forgot to mention,
all of the ILLUMINATION was from TEXASBOARS RPG SENDERO SERIES FEEDER LIGHTS.
A total of 72 watts, way more than whats needed to see and shoot at 200 yards, but is needed to get the video you're watching

Hey Kevin...
Awesome vid...
When are we going to put the smackdown on 'em in Burlington
They are creeping ever closer to the 100 ac tract.
We will be planting corn in the next 2 weeks and it will be on for sure...
Would like for us to get a double or triple Monster kill on vid
