I just overheard there was a mass shooting?

Fort Hood. 20 wounded and 7 dead. That's about all I have heard. There were 2 gunmen that were reportedly wearing fatigues. That's about all I know as of right now.

My stepmom works at the base, and my dad is retired Army, and lives in Killeen. Calling to make sure all is ok with them. This is horrible.........

how'd this guy slip through the cracks...?? anyone catch the pres on tv..? few minutes of "shout outs" then oh yeah.. 7 dead and about 30 wounded..no remorse of feelings.. nice to see where the folks fighting for this country stand in his eyes... i am completly disgusted this evening.. i heard one of the dead is the police officer that took out the shooter cant confirm right now.. what is going on with our country?? bad enough our troops have to worry when deployed now they have to worry at their own base..?? sad they were such easy targets as there is no concealed carry on base... too frustrated right now... RIP to the fallen and my prayers to their familes..

got a link.. 2 1/2 minutes before commenting on the shooting.. is it just me or is there something severly wrong here..???

Another friend of mine that lives in Killeen told me there is some pretty big gang warfare going on there as well within the ranks.

I'm not surprised that 0bama acted that way. In March of this year 0bama was considering a plan to have wounded vets pay for their own health care for active duty injuries. What else do you need to know about 0bama's regard for our heroes?

Of course, this didn't even get close to being passed, but I think that it was very telling.

My dad called. All is ok with my stepmom. She was 4 blocks from the killings and when they locked it all down she had to stay there at her work place until they released everyone. It's pretty bad up there though. My prayers are with all of them up there.

I just heard on the radio that this scumbag listed no religeous preference on his army records, but then he was reprimanded for preaching islam to his patients. The FBI had be watching him for six months prior to the attack for suspected terrorist activity. Apparently he had been visiting websites that are suspected in being linked to terrorists. Are the FBI and the Army not communicating with one another about these things?? Terrible.
