Cap And Trade - I had no idea how bad it could be.
You pump 20 gallons, you get stuck for an extra $15.00
and change.....
The Valero Gas stations are posting these signs even.

More demoncrap bs. Cap and trade is pretty bad, and totally unnecessary. Just another way for the government to take control of our lives and money out of our pockets.

Over in the UK they have been saddled with this crap for a long time. I was talking to an Englishman about fuel prices as a result of this. They pay per liter rather than per gallon. At the time (last December) they were paying around $11 per gallon (equivalent). This will happen in the US if people don't raise cain with their representatives. 0bama has already publicly stated that he wants this.
Another thing that crossed my mind regarding 0bama and his policies is the fact that he is cutting CEO pay and bonuses using that fact that companies took stimulus money as a means to control them. 0bama can't do this to companies that didn't take the money. Kinda makes you wonder what will happen if the health care takeover passes and you have to have medical care. If you get treated for free then you have "taken the money" so to speak. I wonder what 0bama will have you do since you have "taken the money." 0bama wants to enslave and control the entire country. He is doing it by spending tons of money and then claiming control over the debtors. It's the NEW slavery.

Don't forget the privately owned car dealerships that were
forced out of business a few months ago.
They accepted no Govt funds, yet still got shut down by the
manufacturers. That does not seem legal to me, but it happened.

We won`t see it but it`s close.
Burocracy is more evil than the money we are getting ganked out of in all the rediculous taxes and programs.
The next revolution will be a terminating of ALL this MUMBO-JUMBO and those responsible.
Truly a SHAME...

| Why do we need to tax this? It just doesn't make sense. Sure it's a revenue source, but won't you drive your tax base elsewhere? I even heard they may consider carbon taxing ranchers to offset the co2 emissions from cattle. |

YOu hit the nail on the head. And, the danged shame of it all is that there are so many folks who blindly follow him because he is black, and has an alluring perosonality. Sheep to the slaughter.

This whole fiasco is based on the notion that global warming is scientific fact. It is not. Again, the WHOLE so called reason to pass this legislation is global warming. Sad that there are so many sheeple that believe this garbage. Here is but one article of thousands that you can read on the subject: http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech-mainmenu-30/environment/759 The cap and tax measure is supposedly to make up for our damage to the environment and to limit further climate damage. The huge taxes on energy (fuel, etc) will be passed right on to us consumers of course. What this means is that not only will the price at the pump hurt badly, but everything you buy will skyrocket in price. Here is a quick example that may put this in perspective -- EVERYTHING at a Walmart comes delivered on a truck that burns fuel. Now imagine what happens if that fuel costs $11 per gallon. Yep, you guessed it! Those costs get passed onto you when the price of all those goods goes up to cover the new shipping prices. Food, clothing, sporting goods...everything.
All this economic havoc will crush the economy as anyone can imagine. And it's all based on a lie called global warming. BTW here's a visual aid to help you:
