Is installing a peep sight easy and how much does it cost for a bow shop to put on in for me? Thanks for your input _________________ CT

they are pretty easy to install, basicaly you separte your string slip it in ,adjust it to where you ca see through it and then serve it in. dependong on what style you use you may have to twist your string to get it to line up when you draw your bow.last one i had installed i paid for the peep and they installed it for free _________________ A bad day huntin with family is better than a good day at work |

I work at an outdoor store with a bow shop. If you bring us a peep, we will set it up for you and serve it for $5. If you buy the peep from us($5 w/tubing, $2.49 w/out), we set it up for free.
As stated above, it is an easy process. You can check youtube for a video on serving. Just be careful if you insert anything in the string to help you seperate it, make sure it isnt sharp so you dont cut your string. |

Ditto Doc. Don't try to separate the string yourself, they are under great pressure. If you try it with the wrong tool, especially without having the bow in a press, you can really damage your string. I seen many people bring me their bows where they've tried to split the string without a press and they've severed numerous strands to the extent that now it's a $50 - $100 fix depending price of string, labor, etc. Easier to take it in and pay $5. _________________ Kev
